Christine Gatti has been a performing presence in New York City for almost a decade. First as a regular fixture in the open mic haunts around the city. And then, as the lead singer of the band Satellite (a CMJ jackpot band and winner of the Ralph Lauren/ POLO summer song contest 1999). Satellite was often seen performing at clubs like, The Mercury Lounge, The Luna Lounge and Brownies. It was at Luna Lounge that Christine hooked up with John Bingham and formed the band Sleep Circus. The beautiful Amy Kimball was a founding member also, and brought with her the gorgeous string sounds of the church bass and the violin.

Along with co-writer Rich Pagano of the Fab Faux and Marry Me Jane, Christine co-wrote a finalist song in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. "Mary of Mason Hill" was runner up in the rock category of 2001.

Christine spends her time making music with Ivan Julian (Richard Hell and the Voidoids). They recently finished scoring the soundtrack to the film "Girl Trouble" Winner of The best "Bay Area Documentary" in the San Francisco Film Festival 2004.

Their venture Gatlian Music, based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn is making music for cartoons, commercial and Indy films. Christine also takes pictures and sometimes wears a dog costume.
